Animation,Comedy,and Action.

Comedy films are produced more often because its the cheapest genre to produce a film in and they normally sell well.

Film audiences enjoy animated films the most because they are able to appeal to a wide range of people and they offer something for the whole family.

a wide range of genres were popular with women it wasn't just one specific one

One direction, Wreck it Ralph and despicable me. This tells us that there favourite type of film is animation, although one direction was not an animated movie it was directed at the fans of one direction.

14) The 3 most popular films with the 35-44 age group were frozen, the croods and jack the giant slayer. Why might this contribute to animation being the most successful genre at the box office?

This age group are more then likely taking there children or family members to the films, which means that the animation genre is the most successful genre because it attracts family audience.

Djano unchained, fast and furious and rush.

16) Which films were most popular with middle class audience?

Rush and the oz the great and powerful.

17) Look at popular films in London and Scotland. What differences are there and what conclusions can you make about the types of films they appear to prefer?

Scottish audiences seem to prefer films based on homegrown characters and locations like sunshine on leith and filth. Whereas with London audiences they seem to prefer Hollywood blockbusters like fast and furious.

18) What are two more things that i found interesting?

Two things that i found pretty interesting is the fact that action films were the highest grossing despite only making up 6.4% of all releases. Also the number of white cinema is 90.6% compared to the ethnic minorities at 9.4%
